When We Are Closed
After 6.30pm and at weekends, when the surgery is closed, your call will be automatically forwarded to the Staffordshire Doctors Out of Hours Service. If you want to ring them direct, their number is 0300 7900 247.
There is also the 111 telephone number that you can use.
They will discuss your problem with you, and decide how best to deal with it, by giving you advice, asking you to call at the local Out of Hours centre at Cross Street, or by sending an ambulance or doctor.
The Out of Hours centre at Cross Street is only for emergencies, and should not be used for routine matters.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
